The Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Branch at NC DHHS is implementing a change in how they handle moisture/mold-related calls from the public. Essentially, after moisture and mold training is conducted for Environmental Health Directors, Supervisors, Specialists, and interested public health staff, calls from citizens will be addressed by local health departments and their local partners.
