Talking Points:
- Approximately 25 million people in the US have been diagnosed with asthma.
- In North Carolina, asthma affects nearly 1 out of 10 people. More than 1.3 million people reported having an asthma diagnosis at some point in their lives, including 900,000 adults and 400,000 children. And over time, the rate has been increasing.
